Consideration: If a member of public came into your class to make an enquiry & tripped on a bag that was left on the floor, then sued you, how would that impact your finances?
Consideration: If one of your students got hurt due to something you instructed them to do, was then unable to earn & pay ther mortgage, you may find that loyalty changes very quickly & they decided to sue you, if this happened how would that impact you?
You teach a contact sport - normal practice for contact sports (football, rugby, boxing etc) is that we protect the participants by arranging an insurance policy which pays out should they be sued by another student. If you do not put this in place, you are not following normal practice, therefore potentially negligent of not looking after the welfare of your students.
Consideration: John accidentally hurts Sam whilst training. John is unable to earn & pay his mortgage so has no choice but to seek compensation from Sam. Sam recieves a letter from a solicitor, which will request Sams proof of insurance. Sam now is persoanlly effected financially, so may also have no choice but to put this back onto your lap for not following normal practice & being negligent of taking responsibility for the welfare of your students - if you were sued for that, how would it impact you?
Licence Management Service
If you are happy with your current insurance provider for students, but require assisance simply to manage the admin for this, including reminders, renewals, completing licence books etc, we can offer a full Licence management service.
